If you are inquiring regarding an end-of-the-year gift, please contact Karen Soniat via cell at 225-938-7763, or email ksonia2@lsu.edu.  You may also go online to the Law Center’s giving page at https://law.lsu.edu/alumni/supportlaw/ for a direct link to give and for directions on making a gift of stock.

All mailed gifts must be postmarked by December 31st to receive a charitable gift credit for the year.

Updated information on Law Library hours can be found here.

All requests for dean certifications, NCBE applications, etc., received over the holiday break -Friday, December 21 and Tuesday, January 1 – will be processed beginning Wednesday, January 2, 2019. Please allow 3 – 4 works days after we reopen for all requests to be processed. We appreciate your patience.

Thank you, and Happy Holidays.

Make your end-of-the-year gift to LSU Law

painting of a tiger with a Santa hat and a small treeWe hope that your December days are “merry and bright,” and your 2019 is one to which you can look forward with anticipation and delight!

We also hope that your year-end giving plans include the LSU Law Center. Your giving is critical to furthering the outstanding reputation for your law school, and it’s essential for LSU Law to remain competitive. We will go as far as you want us to go, but we need your financial support to get us there. With your support, we recruit and retain our talented students, support faculty scholarship, and provide academic programs such as the Clinical Legal Education program, Apprenticeship Week, moot court competitions, and the Energy Law program, to name a few. Each year we award millions of dollars in tuition waivers to students who couldn’t otherwise afford to attend law school. Your gifts support these awards and helps us to educate the next generation of lawyers and leaders for Louisiana and beyond.
