LSU Law students gained valuable insight to the appellate process when the First Circuit Court of Appeal heard oral arguments at the Law Center, February 8 and 9. On occasion, as part of its education outreach program, the First Circuit travels to various locations within its jurisdiction, such as the Law Center, to hold court. The Honorable John Pettigrew, Page McClendon, and Jewel “Duke” Welch transformed the David Robinson Courtroom into their own as they heard oral arguments over the two-day period. Over 350 students and attorneys attended the arguments.
