Summer Programs

Lyon, France
Université Jean Moulin- Lyon III

For over 25 years, the LSU Law Center has offered students an opportunity to broaden their learning experiences with a study abroad program in France. The 2013 session will be the Program’s eleventh consecutive year in Lyon. Our host institution is the law school of Université Jean Moulin- Lyon III. Set in historic and picturesque Lyon, the Program allows students to earn up to seven credits in interesting comparative and international law topics.

The Program is open to all U.S. students that have completed one year of law school, as well as students from foreign law schools with comparable credentials. All classes are conducted in English and meet four times a week, Monday through Thursday, between 8 a.m. and 1 p.m.

For more information please see the Lyon Program’s website. The Program Director is Professor Philip Hackney, who can be reached at or 225-578-7395.
