LSU Law Center to Launch
September 25, 2006

The LSU Law Center will celebrate the beginning of its “Second Hundred Years” at a school-wide event scheduled on the campus for Monday, September 25, 2006. Students, faculty, and staff will gather at Noon on the steps of the historic “Old Law Building” to salute the past 100 years and to launch the next 100 years of academic life for the institution. An “All-School” photo will be taken to commemorate the date.

The event is part of the year-long series of activities to commemorate the Centennial Anniversary of the LSU Law Center. The September 25 date is symbolic in the history of the Law Center. The first classes at the LSU Law School were held on September 24, 1906. Monday will mark the beginning of the “Second Hundred Years.” This “All-School” event was designed to allow students to be part of the Centennial Celebration.

Campus Federal is the sponsor of the “All-School” celebration.
