Macmurdo Classroom Dedication

More than 100 friends and family members gathered to dedicate the R. Bruce Macmurdo Classroom on April 22. A standing-room only crowd squeezed into the "old building" classroom to witness the unveiling of the plaque that bears Bruce's image and tells a little of his personal story. Vic Marcello ('76) and Bill Steffes ('78) shared memories of political campaigns, trial preparation habits, a passion for sports and the pure love of people that characterized Bruce Macmurdo's life. Bruce's children Josie, Scott, and Mark ('16) joined their mother, Sandy, to acknowledge the dedication and thank the donors who made it possible. The dedication adjourned to a reception in the lobby of the 1937 building. Photos from the event may be viewed here.
