2022 Leave a Legacy Campaign
Upon graduation, classes of the last decade have conducted the “Leave a Legacy” (class gift) campaign. The Cheney Joseph Classroom, Classroom to Courtroom conversion and scholarships have been among the chosen projects.
Our class leadership has selected popular local muralist, Ellen Ogden to create an art piece that is representative of the relationship between LSU Law Center, the Baton Rouge community and the State of Louisiana, in which the majority of us will remain to practice. Tentatively, the art is to be installed in the well above the escalator and will be the legacy of the Class of 2022.
We have established a goal of $4,000 to fund the installation. Should we fall short of the cost of the installation or should we oversubscribe, our class leadership will determine an appropriate alternate use of the dollars raised.
To make your participation in the class gift even more attractive, each donor may choose from a selection LSU Law mementos.
- LSU Law leather portfolio, or
- pencil sketch of the LSU Law Center (this looks great matted and mounted with your diploma), or
- set four LSU Law etched glasses.
For each donation of $45, receive a choice of two of the above. For each donation of $60, receive all three gifts.
Giving online is easy! The online portal is set up to allow family to give on your behalf/in your honor. If you give online, bring a copy of your gift receipt to the Alumni Office, Room 400, to pick up your mementos. You may also write a check or make a credit card gift in the Alumni office.
