On December 13, 2019, the House of Representatives impeached President Trump. On January 15, 2020, the House formally sent the articles to the Senate. On January 16, 2020, the impeachment trial began. Becoming only the third president in United States history to be subject to such a Congressional check, President Trump has again captured the country. ACS invites you to sit down and discuss the impeachment of President Trump. Was the House diligent in its search for evidence? Did the Senate adequately perform its duty? Was Chief Justice Roberts? Depending on the trial results, the topic of discussion will vary. However, regardless of the outcome, we look forward to sitting down and discussing what this historical moment means for our country and what it means for the future of our politics.
