The LSU Law PUB will be open this spring from 9 a.m. to noon and 1 to 3 p.m. Jan. 10, 2019, to Jan. 24. The PUB is closed on weekends and holidays. The PUB is located in Room 302 this spring.

Adam MacLeod of Faulkner University Law School in Montgomery, Alabama, will be the lead speaker in a conversation on “The Jury in the Age of Public Rights” in the McKernan Auditorium of the LSU Law Center on Tuesday, January 22, at 3:00 pm. Professor MacLeod’s lecture, a study of a recent Supreme Court case, Oil States Energy v. Greene’s Energy, which saw Justices Thomas and Gorsuch write opposing opinions, will be commented upon by Professors Raff Donelson and Paul R. Baier of the Law Center. The program is free and open to the public.
The panel is co-sponsored by the Eric Voegelin Institute and the LSU Law Center. The Eric Voegelin Institute, named for one of LSU’s original Boyd Professors and a scholar of international recognition and acclaim, is a humanities and social science research institute devoted to the revitalization of teaching and understanding of the great works of civilization.
