| Event Description | Join us for a Conversation on "Law and Entrepreneurship" with Juanita Baranco, LSU Law '77, Founder/ Ex-VP of Baranco Automotive Group, Atlanta. She and her husband founded one of the early African American-owned dealerships, including Mercedes-Benz of Buckhead and Acura. She is a former GA State Assistant Attorney General; Education Leader and Philanthropist. She's been recognized by Dow Jones Co. for Entrepreneurial Excellence; Named Entrepreneur of the Year, Atlanta; and recognized by Essence Magazine as One of Best Businesswomen in Atlanta. She was a Finalist for 2003 Time Magazine Award for Dealer Award. Lunch will be served. Co-sponsored by BLSA, SBA, Alumni Office. |
