Licensed attorneys and judges are encouraged to volunteer as a guest judge for one or more of the Law Center’s many internal advocacy competitions! Support from the bar is crucial to the success of these programs, and we welcome all volunteers. Guest judges are typically asked to sit on a bench for one round of a competition, but are free to volunteer for additional rounds. internal competition rounds are typically held on weekday evenings, and a round typically lasts approximately two hours. Student representatives of the Board of Advocates will circulate case files, bench briefs, and scoresheets to guest judges in advance of their rounds.
