Prior to obtaining her M.L.I.S., Ms. Gualtier worked as an associate at the firm of Edwards Angell Palmer & Dodge in New York City and as an independent contract attorney for General Electric Oil & Gas in Florence, Italy. During law school, she participated in Georgetown’s International Women’s Human Rights Clinic, traveling to Tanzania to conduct a fact-finding mission and to draft a human rights report and draft bill relating to women’s inheritance rights. Susan has a strong interest in women’s human rights and African customary laws, as well as religious law, U.S. litigation, and international commercial arbitration. Professional Affiliations
