	Glenn G. Morris J. Dawson Gasquet Professor of Law Recent Scholarship Professor Morris taught Contracts, Business Associations I & II and Corporate Finance. He served as Reporter and Chair of the Louisiana State Law Institute’s Corporations Law Committee. The Corporations Committee is reviewing and modifying the Model Business Corporation Act for adoption in Louisiana. With co-author Wendell Holmes, Professor Morris completed the 2012 supplement to Louisiana Business Organizations, Volumes 7 & 8 of the Louisiana Civil Law Treatise Series. Brief Biography Professor Morris received his law degree, with high honors, from the University of Florida in 1980, where he was a member of the Law Review and Order of the Coif. He practiced law in Jacksonville, Florida, from 1980 to 1983 in the fields of business planning, corporate finance, securities law, and mergers and acquisitions. He began teaching at LSU in 1983 and served as Vice Chancellor from 1997 to 2008.
