Back How do I Get Research Help? Research assistance is available to LSU Law students and faculty in a variety of formats: Chat, e-mail, phone, in-person. Law students may also request Research Appointments to consult with a Reference Librarian for in-depth assistance. Assistance to public patrons is limited. For more information about services to the public, visit our For the Public page. This service is only available to LSU Law Center students, faculty, and staff. You will be prompted for your LSU Law Center network login ID and password. Regular hours of operation: Monday-Friday 1 p.m.-8 p.m. Click here if you would like to chat live with a librarian. Everyone, including those not affiliated with the LSU Law Center may use any of the other reference services listed below.
You may submit questions 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Please state your question as clearly as possible to facilitate a prompt response. Replies are normally sent via email within 24 hours, excluding weekends and holidays.
