How do I Renew Library Materials?

You can renew your libary materials at the Circulation Desk or online through the library catalog. You can renew your materials online once. After that you will have to stop by the Circulation Desk. To renew your materials online:

  • On the library home page (http://www.law.lsu.edu/library) under Student Resources or from the Library Catalog select My Library Record
  • On the next screen, click Renew My Materials
  • On the following screen, enter your user id (17 digit number found on your LSU ID card, do not enter the dash or space) and your PIN. You may use your 9 digit LSU ID as your alternate ID. Your PIN is changeme unless you have changed it.
  • Select individual titles to renew or select "Renew all."
  • Click Renew Selected Items at the end of the list.

The following screen lists the items that were renewed with their new due dates. If items failed to be renewed, return them or contact the Circulation Librarian, Kevin Baggett, kevin.baggett@law.lsu.edu, 578-4041 if you believe there was an error.

If you have received a bill for an item, you must bring the item to the library. Once the item has been checked in, you may charge it out again.
