Legal Citation

Currently the 1L students purchase “The Bluebook: A Uniform System of Citation” and use this reference manual for writing assignments. Additionally, students learn that citation rules may vary from jurisdiction to jurisdiction. As a result, students are introduced to a host of citation manuals and are instructed to be aware of court customs as well when citing legal authority in practice documents.
