LSU Law Center Scholarship Reception, April 14, 20114/14/2011On April 14, 2011, Chancellor Jack Weiss welcomed 130 scholarship donors and student scholarship recipients to the Faculty Club. The annual event honors those who helped fund scholarships at the Law Center, and the students who have benefited from that generosity. The reception also provides the Law Center an opportunity to say "thank you" to our donors, and, of course, to acknowledge our wonderful students. Chancellor Weiss also recognized the generous donors who have recently established scholarships. Some 27 new endowed and annual scholarships have been established since our last reception in 2009. Thank you to all who attended this lovely event, and for your support of the LSU Law Center Scholarship Programs. |
