2009 Les Avocats Luncheon6/15/2009Graduates of "51 Years or Better" gathered for a lunch and reception on May 29, 2009. Dave Langford ('49) said his looks hadn't changed from his time as a student until today. Alvin Gibson ('49) remembered exams as being the worst thing about school, and Ed Lancaster ('48) said his most vivid memory of law school was Harriet "Ma" Daggett and the "weasel words" she taught them. For the uninitiated, "weasel words" are words that lawyers need to learn to weasel out of situations. |
