2009 Scholarship Reception3/31/2009Faculty ClubChancellor Weiss recently hosted the annual LSU Law Scholarship Reception at the Faculty Club. More than 100 privately-funded scholarships were represented by students, firms, LSU Law alumni, and memorial scholarship family members and friends. Guests were treated to the musical talents of Brianna Guerin (LSU Law ’08) on the piano, and photo ops with Mike the Tiger, who dropped in for a visit. Scholarships funded by the financial contributions of alumni and friends of LSU Law make a lasting impact on the lives of students. The LSU Law Center deeply appreciates these contributions that make it possible to pursue excellence in legal education. |
