Equipment CheckoutInstructional Technology Services provides the following equipment for short-term use by faculty, staff, and students within the LSU Law Center buildings: Audio Recorder Digital audio recorders are available to record class or small group meetings and interviews. Audio files are typically stored as MP3 files after downloading to a computer. Digital Videocamera Digital video cameras are available to record competitions, practices, and other events. Video files are stored in a variety of formats and will usually require editing and conversion before sharing online or via CD/DVD. Digital Camera Digital cameras are available for capturing photographs. Image files are typically stored as JPG files after downloading to a computer. PowerPoint Remote & Laser Pointer PowerPoint remotes allow presenters to control slide navigation (forward and backward), to blank the screen, and features a built-in laser pointer. Microphone Microphones (handheld and lavaliere) are available for use by students and faculty in rooms with built-in PA systems. TV Monitor & DVD/VCR Portable 27-inch TV monitors with DVD/VCR units are available for showing videos on the Paul M. Hebert Law Center campus. Webcam & Headset Webcams and headsets are available for use on the Paul M. Hebert Law Center campus. Webcams and headsets can be used with desktop videoconferencing applications such as Skype and Adobe Connect.
