"This isn't a place where you will study all day and then go home. There are so many functions throughout the year that allow everyone to get to know one another. Other than socials and student clubs, intramurals and the annual Barrister's Bowl are great ways to meet other students. This is the only law school I know of that hosts a full-contact, regulation football game to raise money for a designated charity."

30 of the LSU Law Center's full-time faculty hold the rank of Full Professor. 12 faculty members began their teaching careers at LSU, while 26 were hired after gaining teaching experience at other institutions. The average length of teaching experience among the faculty is 22 years. Nine possess advance degrees in law, while most faculty members entered their teaching careers after an average of five years of practice.

Information published by student organizations and by individual faculty, students, and staff is considered unofficial. The information published on electronic media will not be edited or censored for content, but the homepage must contain a disclaimer stating the following:

“The statements and opinions included in insert organization or individual name here pages are those of insert organization or individual name here only. Any statements and opinions included in these pages are not those of Louisiana State University, the LSU Law Center, or the LSU Board of Supervisors.”

Example:
“The statements of the Student Bar Association pages are those of the SBA only. Any statements and opinions included in these pages are not those of Louisiana State University, the LSU Law Center, or the LSU Board of Supervisors.”

Any unofficial homepage that does not have the disclaimer posted will have its link removed from the official LSU Law Center website.

All faculty, staff, and students are required to have a link to the webmaster of that site on their “home page”.
