Civil Law Resources
The CCLS works at making the civil law tradition of Louisiana visible and accessible to the world. In 2008, year of the Bicentennial of the Louisiana Civil Code, the Digest of 1808 was made visible and researchable on Digest Online.
The CCLS will soon showcase the present Louisiana Civil Code, on Louisiana Civil Code Online.
In cooperation with the LSU Law Library, the CCLS contributes to the Civil Law Online database, aiming at promoting civil law resources not only from Louisiana, but also from other civil law jurisdictions around the world.
