Suzanna Johnson "This is the first time I am living on my own. Louisiana is a very different state than Florida, and I was put into an extremely academically competitive environment, far surpassing what I was used to. I believe that these experiences will prepare me for any challenge I may face in the future." (more)LSU has produced a number of distinguished undergraduates, including four Marshall Scholars, 24 Goldwater Scholars, 14 Rhodes Scholars, four Truman Scholars, and more than 25 Fulbright Scholars. Young Alumni Leadership CouncilThe Young Alumni Leadership Council was established in the fall of 2007 by Chancellor Jack Weiss to provide a conduit for communication between the LSU Law Center and its most recent graduates. The Council is made up of members from each of the past ten years’ graduating classes. Members are selected by the Chancellor based on a demonstrated record of leadership, commitment to the Law Center and the ability to contribute insightfully to Council discussions. The Council meets with the Chancellor twice a year and advises him on a range of issues, both in the course of those meetings and at other times throughout the year.
