This annual scholarship was established in 1986 by ABOTA in memory of Judge Albert Tate, Jr. This scholarship is awarded to an upperclass student demonstrating an apptitude and desire to practice in civil litigation trail work. The student must also have an exemplary character and a demonstrated financial need.
