McBride and Collier, a Louisiana Law Firm with offices in Alexandria, Shreveport and Monroe, established this scholarship in 2010. The firm was founded in 1991 by Mr. Thomas McBride, a 1979 LSU Law graduate, and Mr. Glay H. Coller, II. McBride and Collier specialize in bankruptcy and disability law. The purpose of this scholarship is to provide financial assistance to current or entering students who demonstrate strong academic performance. Preference will be given to residents of the parishes serviced by the firm, including Avoyelles, Bienville, Bossier, Caddo, Caldwell, Catahoula, Claiborne, Concordia, DeSoto, East Carroll, Franklin, Grant, Jackson, LaSalle, Madison, Morehouse, Natchitoches, Ouachita, Rapides, Red River, Richland, Sabine, Tensas, Union, Vernon, Webster, West Carroll, or Winn Parishes.
