The Craig and Meepsie Murray Endowed Scholarship was established in 2008 by Craig W. Murray (’76) and his wife, Mary “Meepsie” Lintot Dougherty Murray (’93), two graduates of LSU Law who believe in giving back to the school. Craig Murray graduated The Order of the Coif from LSU Law, was managing editor of the Louisiana Law Review and a member of Omicron Delta Kappa. His primary area of practice is corporate and energy-related finance. Mary Lintot Dougherty was also The Order of the Coif graduate of the Law Center, and a member of Phi Kappa Phi. She is a tax attorney, dealing primarily with estate planning, trusts and probate. The recipient of this scholarship must be a current or entering full-time student at the Law Center, with preference given to a student who demonstrates strong academic performance.
