"The Law Center turned out to be a pretty engaging, nurturing place. Classes were lively. The faculty and staff were warm and always approachable. Student organizations were plentiful, well organized and well funded."
Louisiana's refineries spent a massive $2.9 billion on capital expenditures in 2009.
Student Health Insurance
All law students who pay the Student Health Center fee are eligible to use the services of the center. However, a reasonable level of supplemental health insurance, particularly coverage for hospital care, is strongly recommended for all students. The University sponsors three levels of optional Student Health Insurance that provide coverage for students and their dependants. For more information, visit the Student Health Center, corner of West Chimes and Infirmary Road, the website at www.lsu.edu/shc, or call 225/578-6271 for an insurance brochure and application. Benefit questions should be directed to 1-800-285-8133.
