National Moot Court Regional Competition

The Law Center is pleased to have been selected as a host school for the 2012-2013 National Moot Court Competition.  Sponsored by the Association of the Bar of the City of New York and the American College of Trial Lawyers, the National Moot Court Competition is one of the largest moot court competitions in the United States, with over 150 schools competing in the regional rounds.  The Law Center will be hosting the Region VII Regional Rounds November 7 to November 9, with representatives of law schools in Louisiana, Alabama, Mississippi, and Tennessee competing for the chance to advance to the national championships in New York City.  Preliminary rounds will be held all day on November 8 at the 19th Judicial District Courthouse in downtown Baton Rouge, and the semifinal and final rounds will be held on Friday, November 9 in the Robinson Courtroom at the Law Center and at the 19th Judicial District Courthouse in Baton Rouge.
