The Summer Externship Program will hold a general information session for all current 1Ls and 2Ls from 12:40 to 1:40 on Jan. 14 in Room 110. The Summer Externship Program places students full-time during the summer session with local, state, and federal government agencies, not-for-profit advocacy organizations, and judges’ chambers, both within Louisiana and in major out-of-state legal markets. The information session will cover topics including the application process, available placements, credit requirements, financial aid, the process for a student to create their own summer externship experience, and other matters. More information on the Externship Program can be found on the Clinics and Externships section of the Law Center website.
