1960s

Timothy J. McNamara ('61), an attorney with the Onebane Law Firm in Lafayette, Louisiana, was selected as a 2008 Super Lawyer.

1970s

Mary Terrell Joseph ('70) was elected president of the Baton Rouge Rotary Club – the eighth largest Rotary Club in the world.

David Willenzik, 1971David S. Willenzik ('71) became the general counsel of The New Orleans Exchange and its op-sub, The Receivables Exchange. He also remains "of counsel" to the McGlinchey Stafford firm, which he has had a relationship with for nearly 32 years.

Clark Cosse, 1972Clark Cosse ('72) is a chief governmental officer and general counsel of the Louisiana Hospital Association. He was recently re-elected chair of the Louisiana Patient's Compensation Fund Oversight Board, which he has served on since 2003.

Patrick Grant, 1979Patrick G. Grant ('79) is the assistant general counsel to S&B Engineers and Constructors in Houston, Texas. He also recently completed the 190 mile "Coast to Coast" walk across England in 12 days. His daughter Victoria is a sophomore at LSU, majoring in sociology.

1980s

Ann Wise ('80) was appointed by Gov. Bobby Jindal to a third, six-year term as director of the Division of Administrative Law. She was also selected as a member of the Baton Rouge Area Leadership Class of 2009 by the Baton Rouge area Chamber of Commerce.

J. Lanier Yeates, 1981J. Lanier Yeates ('81) was elected a member of the Management Committee of Gordon, Arata, McCollam, Duplantis & Eagan, LLP. He is now the managing partner of the firm's Houston office.

Eve Masinter, 1982Eve B. Masinter ('82) is practicing at the firm of Lemle & Kelleher in New Orleans. She currently serves as chair of the International Association of Defense Counsel's Employment Law Committee. She is also on the Board of NOLA City Bark.

Piper Griffin ('87) was recently re-elected without opposition to the Orleans Parish Civil District Court Bench, Division I.

David Wheat, 1988David Wheat ('88) is a partner in Thompson & Knight, LLP's Dallas office. He and his wife, Terry, recently celebrated their 20th anniversary. They also have two daughters, Susan, 16, and Mary, 12.

Joseph C. Wiley ('89) was appointed to the Louisiana Board of Regents. He is vice-president and general counsel for the Excel Group of industrial construction and maintenance contractors.

1990s

Steve W. Mullins ('92) became a partner in the law firm of Luckey and Mullins, PLLC in Ocean Springs, Mississippi. He was also recently elected president of the Mississippi Association of Justice, formerly known as the Mississippi Trial Lawyers Association.

Donald Douglas, 1993Donald "Bubby" Douglas ('93) is a mediator and arbitrator with ADR, Inc. He also teaches a mediation simulation course at Loyola Law School. He and his wife Stephanie have four children and reside in Mandeville, Louisiana.

Madaline Cross Gibbs ('94) is an associate with J.W. Seibert III, PLC in Vidalia, Louisiana, as of September 15.

Kevin P. Mahne ('94), a lieutenant colonel in the U.S. Marine Corps, became the senior legal advisor for Regimental Combat Team 1 in Al Anbar, Iraq.

Caroline B. Blizter ('96) has moved to the New York office of Vinson & Elkins, LLP.

Kenneth Hooks, 1997Kenneth H. Hooks III ('97) was elected legal counsel for the Democratic State Central Committee for a 4-year term. He was also recently appointed as Louisiana Co-Lead Counsel for the Louisiana Barack Obama Presidential Campaign. He is a partner with the Baton Rouge law firm of Dodson, Hooks and Frederick, APLC, and serves as an adjunct professor at the Southern University Law Center.

Hillary H. Hughes ('97) is a partner with Sonnenschein, Nath & Rosenthal, LLP in New York. He recently had her second child, Ivan Seth, in June.

Kimberly Robinson, 1998Kimberly Lewis Robinson ('98) has joined the firm of Jones Walker's Baton Rouge office as special counsel in the Business & Finance and Tax, Trusts & Estates Practice Groups.

2000s

Darrin Forte ('00) and his partners founded the firm of Garrison, Yount, Lormand, Forte & Mulcahy, LLC, with offices in New Orleans and Tampa, Florida.

Lawrence Centola III ('01) is a lawyer with the law firm of Martzell & Bickford in New Orleans. He was recently chosen to receive the American Inns of Court’s 2008 Sandra Day O’Connor Award for Professional Service.

Neil Coig, 2001Neil Coig ('01) has opened a satellite office in New Orleans for the Baton Rouge firm of Roy, Kiesel, Keegan, and DeNicola.

Julie-Ann and D. Patrick Keating Jr. ('01) have opened their own firm, The Keating Law Firm, LLC, in Metairie, Louisiana.

Chad Grand, 2005Chad Grand ('05) joined the firm of Jones Walker as an associate in the Intellectual Property practice area within the Business & Finance Practice Group.

Kelly McCall Brian ('07) is working for the firm of Jeansonne & Remondet in its New Orleans office.

Brianna Williams Guerin ('07) has been appointed director of communications for the National Bar Association. She continues to work with the Hon. Ralph Tyson, U.S. District Court in the Middle District of Louisiana.

Matthew L. Mann ('08) is now with the firm of Porteous, Hainkel & Johnson in New Orleans.
