Frank Maraist

FRANK L. MARAIST LECTURE HALL CAMPAIGN

Professor Frank Maraist delivered his last lecture on July 14, 2011, in Room 110 to a standing ovation from faculty colleagues, staff, and students in attendance. It was a low-key but heartfelt conclusion to a career that spanned almost four decades of positive influence and mentorship of hundreds of LSU Law graduates. To pay tribute to Professor Maraist, we have launched a campaign to name Room 110 the Frank L. Maraist Lecture Hall in his honor.

Cheney Joseph

CHENEY C. JOSEPH CLASSROOM CAMPAIGN

Cheney Joseph was the heart and soul of the LSU Law Center, and he was one of the most influential lawyers and people in the history of the Louisiana legal profession. We all are blessed to have known and loved this great lawyer, professor, and man, whose spirit and influence will live forever through his family, friends, colleagues, students and graduates. To pay tribute, we have launched a campaign to name Room W210 the Cheney C. Joseph Classroom in his honor.
